Burger Republic in Nashville

Absolutely best vegetarian burger I have ever had. Easy to order, just find the burger you want and the chef will replace the meat patty with vegan-friendly patty. You don't find this versatile feature on the menu you at other restaurants. This makes Burger Republic the most vegan-friendly burger joint east of the Mississippi. My brother ordered the Tennessee Burger I got the Shroomin Burger. I felt great after my meal, not bloated. Milkshakes are delicious too.

Wow. That's the best burger I've had in a long time. Jalapeno popper burger. Highly recommend. Great beer selection as well. Fast and good service.

Decent place. Apparently Burger Republic has some of the best burgers in Tennessee, but I wasn't overly impressed. They weren't bad, I'd even go so far as to call the XXX burger I ordered pretty good, but I've had better. A bit pricey too- a burger, shake, and side ran me somewhere around $23 The reason I'm giving 5 stars as opposed to 4, though, is due to the Sweet Potato Tots. By the beard of Zeus, those were good. I'd go back here solely to order two plates of them. Do yourself a favor and check this place out, if only for the tots.

If you like burgers, you must go here. Exceptional burgers, great taste. If you're a tater tots fan, get the hot tots or the fondue. Honestly, the salads are excellent, too.

Definitely one of the top ten burgers in the US. Low prices for really good food. Nice waiter and kind atmosphere. Will come again!

My life was changed with the hot tots. Then I ordered a Taco Truck burger with truffle tots. Now I'm in a different realm. You won't be disappointed here... as long as you order tots.

Visited for Father's Day. It had been several years since we ventured in. Everything was delish. Staff was attentive, food quick and everyone was spaced at a safe distance. We will definitely be back sooner next time!

I was waiting my order like more than 30 minutes, and after that when I wanted to double check on my to go order they took it from ready orders side and gave it to me. They didn’t even say sorry, bartender workers are terrible, especially old lady with rude face. I have never and ever recommend this place for no one. Workers should be thought for how to serve and how to manner with customers. Terrible bartenders, especially old lady with RUDE FACE!!!

Great burger. Lots of options that are predesigned, but you can customize your burger however you like. Beer selection was also good...lots of local stuff with a variety of styles. Fries were delicious 👌. I will likely return the next time I'm in the Nashville TN area. Keep up the good work Burger Republic!

Stopped in for a snack and had a wonderful experience. We ordered the tater tots fondue and fried green tomatoes. They were both exceptional. The fondue is creamy and delicious. The tomatoes were topped with bacon jam and peppers adding a bit of sweetness. And we both ordered shakes - bananas foster and frozen black Irish. They were phenomenal! Prices are reasonable and staff was very friendly.

Definitely a neat place to go. Food was ok...service was a bit slow but the ambiance was neat for being downtown. Be careful parking because you will get a ticket. Black & blue salad was good. Shakes are AMAZING!

Clean restaurant that REALLY thinks about its guests and even provides blankets if you want to sit on the patio.I would DEFINITELY recommend this place to anyone looking for a good bite to eat. Just be sure to pay for extra time on the parking spaces because we well exceeded or FREE 1st hour and for a ticket.

This quickly became one my my favorite restaurants. Great menu selection to accomodate all taste preferences. Fresh and tasteful food and quality. Good service in a nice atmosphere and best of all; a variety of delicious "boozy" milkshakes! Great experience and would reccomend to anyone looking for a nice and tasteful American cuisine dinner in the downtown nashville area.

Had 2 long black hairs in my food. Burger was pretty good, and I ignored the first hair because I was super hungry, then found another hair in my tots and called it quits. The burger was good but I can find good burgers all day that dont have hairs in them. Real shame.

Pretty good burgers. Very expensive though. For two people the total came to $44. For a burger and milkshake place, that's pretty expensive.

This place is located in the hipster area called the Gultch. Just a couple of blocks away you'll find basic girls standing in line to take pictures with street art, hipsters texting on scooters, and of course avocado toast brunch. This burger place is more of the same, but also a little different.It's towards the end of the brunch row, and our group of four didn't have to wait in line for a table (at noon on Sunday). They have fantastic burgers with lots of dietary options. They also have spiked milk shakes that are a must. Try the Nashville hot tots, and garlic fries. Everything on the menu is wonderful. Would go again.

Lived up to the hype. Had The Tennessee with Hot Tots. Trying to figure out the seasoning. Hamburger was legit hand made angus. Kids smashed their hamburgers and Mac & Cheese. Will definitely come again.

The food has always been good here which is why we keep coming back. They did mess up my sandwich for the first time yesterday but they did make it right several times over and the chef came out personally to double check. He was personable as well. That was appreciated. The mess up wasn't severe enough to ding them.

This place is my favorite site. Of all restaurants I know I like it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this restaurant. when I want to go to a special lunchon, this is the place that comes right away to my mind. excellent and all sorts of food and a large list of dishes.great team, and agreeable vibes. Not less important, the price is modest. I tell about this restaurant with pleasure.

First try! Didn’t actually get a burger but the buffalo tenders were pretty good. Those tater tots may be the best in town.

SEC weekend and the wait was only 10 minutes. Food arrived with drinks only 10 minutes after that. The local beer has great diversity and taste, and the burgers are terrific (West Texas ftw). Best Mac and Cheese I've ever had also.

Service was friendly, food was pretty good. Lots of opportunities to customize your meal if you'd like, including two non-meat alternatives for the burgers (although keep an eye out, there's still lots of meat in most of the specially burgers fixings; but you can ask for them without, just isn't quite the full flavor combo). Also kid-friendly with high chairs (room at a table for four adults plus a little one) and a special kids' menu/coloring sheet. Milkshakes were a real shining star!

I walk pad this place all the time but I never stopped to eat. Today on my lunch break so I'll talk around and decide to close in the middle of the day the way they do because, you know, they're too cool. So I walked around the corner to Burger Republic and had really good service, a really good waiter. the milkshake was awesome, best I have had since I moved moved here two years ago.

96 burger cooked to a medium well perfection with bacon garlic fries. OMGoodness! Great service upbeat atmosphere and awesome garlic fries!!

Among the best burgers I have ever had in my life. The tater tots were incredible and the Chocolate Peanut Butter milkshake is AMAZING!

From out of town...walked in and felt at home.The service was very friendly and professional and the burger and sweet potato fries were delicious. The next day I brought and they loved it. Will surely return when I come back.

After a hot day walking around The Gulch it was very nicely cool inside. Ordered the classic with tater tots and it was really good. Waitress was very nice, hostess not as much. Wanted to order a beer but only IPA type beers on the menu, wanted a Red Stripe but they didn't have it.

Fantastic food. This was on my to visit list as a first time Nashville visitor. It gets very crowded as it was an hour wait for a party of one but I was able to sit at the bar. The Tennessee burger was great. The jack daniels sauce was perfect. The star of the day though was the Nashville hot tots. I wish they had these in Atlanta.All in all. Great food and I'll be back whenever I come back to Nashville

Love the look of the place and the quick service. My family got some black bean veggie patties with our pick of a jack Daniels BBQ sauce and jalapeno popper style Burger. The shake was the "strawberry" on top of the entire meal and what server ever says thank you for stacking the plates for them?...an awesome one.

Excellent burger. Upgraded to the Nashville tots, they're worth the upgrade especially if you like tots.I would say be careful sitting outside especially in the summer. There weren't any flies when I sat down, but the moment after the food came out so did they.

I haven’t tried the burgers yet here, but even without it I love this place! The Crab and Spinach dip was sooo good! And omg I LOVED the Cookie Butter Shake! We received great service too, I mean it’s a sure thing. I can’t wait to try more of the menu. ☺️

Downtown! The most hospitable people I have ever been served by! Got a salad with a veggie burger n top. The manager came out and said he didn’t like how it looked and was having them redo it, he laid an order of sweet potato tots on the table so I’d have something to noble on! Then he mentioned how good they are with honey and cinnamon and brought out some for us to try! Our server had never had them so we made her try one. When it came the salad was delicious!!!!! Good food,good service!!

Love the Ahi Tuna burger I got. My hubby loves his burger too. The kids got kid's meal and they love it. The place is nice and cozy, love the location too. The server could have been a little more friendlier, he just have this funny awkward look at us. Maybe because my toddler was a little cranky...i dunno. But overall, I would come back to place again when we visit Nashville.

Love this place! Burgers are perfectly cooked and scrumptious. Waiters are attentive. My husband is having knee surgery next month and he wants me to sneak a black and blue burger into the hospital for him.

Reliable spot for great service and really good burgers and shakes. They usually get you in and out in time for the free hour of garage parking.

The beer selection leaves a lot to be desired. The food, on the other hand, was fantastic. Burger came out just the way we ordered it. Jalapeño hot curds were full of flavor and spice. Tater tots were hot and crispy. The different shake flavors made it really hard to choose! We went with the Evil S’mores. And BOY OH BOY was that a good choice!!! So tasty, not overly boozy, and picture perfect 😍

In my whole life (23 years) of being vegetarian I've never had a veggie burger quite like the one at burger republic! It was amazing. The tater tot fondue is AMAZING!!! Tater tots and beer cheese? Yes please! Also thanks for being open on labor day!!!

This place is great! We only went there for milkshakes, but they are delicious! I tried the bananas foster spiked milkshake and my wife got the cookie butter milkshake. We would definitely come here again and recommend it to others. The service was great and so was the atmosphere. The location is also convenient with easy parking nearby.

Very good milkshakes. The burgers are also good. there is a good mix of flavor and unique layering. I bet there’s a very good artistic chef that puts them together.I think the fries at Burger Up are a bit better.

A friend told me this place was his favorite burger in town so I went to check it out and oh my, it did not disappoint! I got the classic Burger Republic with a side of truffle tots and sweet potato tots. Burger was AMAZING and the tots had lots of flavor. Topped it off with a banana foster shake which was also delicious.
